RDSF&S - Thanks WL for a great question! You can find a link on www.roydays.com for the map. The yellow link button says"2010 Vendor Booth Map" and is located towards the bottom on the left side of the page.

Right now Roy Days will be hosting AVON, hand made crafts, Hot Dog Heaven, USBORNE Books, LIA SOPHIA Jewelry, Zeppe's Italian Ice, Ogden Clinic, cotton candy, TUPPERWARE, face painting, Madsen's Carnival foods, Weber State University, Snowies, ribbon fries, Philly Cheesesteaks to name a few! If you know of anyone interested in being a vendor direct them to www.roydays.com for all the information and vendor applications.

Correct Mailing Address

The first week of April the applications and the website had a typo in the mailing address. THE CORRECT POST OFFICE BOX # IS 703. Sorry for the confusion this may have caused. Everything has been corrected! Thanks for your patience.

JC asks, "What if I need to cancel my booth space - can I get a refund?"

RDSF&S - We understand that circumstances change. You may cancel your booth space and receive a refund up until the deadline (this year it's July 9, 2010). We only have so many booth spaces available and sell them until they run out - that means that about 15% of applicants are turned away. We can resell your spot to those on the waiting list. After the deadline we have a much harder time filling the spots as potential vendors have made other plans.

Remember - this entire event is run by volunteers and all proceeds are used to fund the Roy High Band program to keep student fees low. So, if you do need to cancel please let us have plenty of time to fill your spot. Thanks for the question JC!

Seems I relied on old information when reporting the dates of Roy Days Super Friday and Saturday - the real date is the first week of August and Super Friday and Saturday will be on August 6 & 7.

I can't believe 2010 is here and Roy Days is around the corner!

We had a great turn out last year despite all the bad economic news - people are staying home and coming to these type of events. That's great news for all the Roy Days vendors.

Applications will be available on April 1, 2010 at www.roydays.com.

I will be posting vendor questions and my answers as they come to build a FAQ for the future.

Thanks so much for all your support! Hope to see you this summer...

2009 Roy Days Super Friday & Saturday

Well, another Roy Days Super Friday & Saturday has ended successfully!

Along with record attendance we had over 100 vendors this year at the George Wahlen North Park in Roy, Utah on July 31 and August 1, 2009. The Roy Kiwanis Club hosted the annual Salmon Bake Friday night. There were many great food vendors ranging from glazed nuts, Navajo tacos, pizza, chicken, Thai, Philipino, deep fried twinkies and oreos, shaved ice, cotton candy, Guatamalen, scones, churros, gyros, ribbon fries, hamburgers, hotdogs, handmade fries, and BBQ. Oh, and who can't live without funnel cakes at an event like this?!

We had other vendors who had fine art, a clown making balloon animals, the ARMY had a great climbing wall, an inflatable bubble machine and water slide that the kids loved, a psychic, a flushing toilet dunk tank, toys, books, handcrafted items, informational and educational booths and so many more... First Baptist Church is always popular for giving out free ice cold bottles of water!

One big change this year was the stage area in the middle of the park. Thanks to Winegar's grocery store we were able to shade the audience with their huge tent. It sure made a big difference. The stage was also constantly filled with great entertainment. Thanks to all those who performed, teched, and scheduled!

Many thanks to the City of Roy, the Roy Parks Department (especially my buddies, Doug, Brady, and Scott!), Brandon the electrician, the Roy High Marching Band kids (who did clean up), and most importantly to all the vendors who participated this year.

Just a reminder that the Super Friday & Saturday part of Roy Days is run entirely by unpaid (!) volunteers and 100% of the proceeds go towards the Roy High Marching Band program for equipment, instruments, and competition costs. Last year Roy High Marching Band placed 1st in State in our division and we couldn't do it without your support.

I received great feedback from several vendors and hope that next year is even better. Feel free to leave your input but please be polite! We had the expected bumps that go along with a huge event like this but we all worked together to make a great couple of days. On a sad note, I learned that long-time vendor Dee Price passed away in May. Our condolences to her family from Roy.

Super Friday & Saturday will be on July 30 & 31, 2010. Applications will be available April 1, 2010 at www.roydays.com.
